Getting the most from a paper tracker

  • Put it where the habit happens. The sheet is itself a cue; the fridge or bathroom mirror beats a drawer.
  • Mark it immediately. Crossing off the box right after the habit gives an instant, satisfying reward.
  • Write the small version. “Read one page” instead of “read 30 minutes”.
  • Never miss twice. A blank box is fine. Two blanks in a row is where habits quietly end, so the sheet includes a notes row to record what got in the way.

Questions

How do I print the habit tracker?

Type your habits, pick the month, then press “Print or save as PDF”. Your browser’s print dialog opens with only the tracker sheet; choose landscape for months with 31 days and “Save as PDF” if you want a file.

Is the printable habit tracker free?

Yes, free with no email or sign-up. Everything is generated in your browser.

What should I put on a habit tracker?

Three to six habits is plenty. Write each one as its two-minute version or as a habit stack (“after coffee: water”), so a filled box means you showed up, not that you did a perfect session.

Paper or app?

Both work. A paper sheet on the fridge is a visible cue you walk past every day; the online tracker on our home page works anywhere and counts streaks for you. Use whichever you will actually look at.
