Build Your Habit

Use the 4 Laws of Behavior Change to design a habit that sticks

📘 How to Use This Tool

  • 1.Give your habit a name and briefly describe what you'll do.
  • 2.Design your cue (Law 1) - Choose what will trigger your habit (time, location, or existing habit).
  • 3.Make it attractive (Law 2) - Identify what makes this habit appealing to you.
  • 4.Make it easy (Law 3) - Start with the smallest version (2-Minute Rule) and reduce friction.
  • 5.Make it satisfying (Law 4) - Plan how you'll reward yourself or track progress.
  • 6.Save and track - Your habit will be added to your tracker where you can check in daily.

💡 Pro tip: The more specific you are with each law, the higher your success rate. Take time to think through each section carefully.
